Terms of Service

All tours and activities listed on this website are presented by Wisdom Yatra Tour & Travel (referred to as Wisdom Yatra). Some components of your experience, such as transport, meals, or Vedic astrology sessions, may be delivered by selected third-party service partners. Wisdom Yatra is responsible for the service design and coordination, but does not accept liability for independent actions or individual service standards of third-party providers.

1) Inclusions

Inclusions for each service are listed on that specific tour, retreat, or activity page. Please review those details before booking.

2) Acceptance

Your booking is valid only when all three steps are complete: payment (as required), submission of booking details, and confirmation from Wisdom Yatra by email or message. If one person books for a group, that person is understood to have authority to act for all group members. We may refuse a booking if information provided suggests the experience is not suitable or safe.

3) Minimum numbers

Some tours require a minimum number of participants. Wisdom Yatra may still operate services with lower numbers at its discretion, including with adjusted staffing where appropriate.

4) Wisdom Yatra may alter your booking if necessary

We may adjust timing, route, itinerary, or service components to ensure safe and practical delivery. This may be required due to weather, road conditions, supplier changes, local restrictions, or operational constraints.

5) If Wisdom Yatra cancels your booking

If we cancel before commencement, you may choose either:

  • transfer to another date or another available service, or
  • a full refund of money paid (excluding payment gateway/transaction charges).

6) If you want to alter or cancel a booking

  • Date/service changes are allowed when requested in writing more than 24 hours before start time.
  • Cancellation made outside 24 hours before start time will attract a 50% charge of the service price.
  • Date changes (without cancellation) carry no penalty, subject to availability.

7) Price increases

Published prices may be revised. If a significant price change affects your confirmed service and start date is more than 30 days away, we will notify you and offer the option to accept the update or cancel for refund.

8) Tour guides and activity facilitators

Our guides and facilitators may take operational decisions for safety and smooth conduct, including route changes, timing adjustments, or restricting participation in specific segments where necessary. By joining, you agree to follow these directions.

9) Your responsibility

You must choose services that match your health and ability. Some walking experiences involve up to 5 hours of movement and may include uneven paths, crowds, weather exposure, and variable terrain.

  • Carry suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Share relevant medical conditions and dietary restrictions at booking stage.
  • Act responsibly and avoid unsafe behavior during activities.

You accept responsibility for your conduct and agree to indemnify Wisdom Yatra for liabilities arising from your own actions.

10) Age requirements

  • For walking tours, guests aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • A guardian waiver may be required for minor participation.
  • We may decline participation for minors if the selected route or service is not suitable.
  • Guests above 80 years may be asked to provide medical fitness confirmation from a doctor.

11) Voluntary participation

Participation in all Wisdom Yatra services is voluntary. By joining, you confirm that you are physically and mentally able to participate and are not knowingly entering a condition that makes participation unsafe.

12) Understanding risks

You understand that many services take place in public and dynamic environments where conditions are not fully controllable.

  • uneven ground, stairs, low-light areas, and slippery surfaces,
  • road traffic, diversions, and crowd movement,
  • weather-related discomfort, delays, or physical strain.

13) Assumption of risk

By participating, you voluntarily assume the ordinary and foreseeable risks connected to travel and walking-based experiences.

14) Release and waiver of liability

Except in cases of willful misconduct or proven wrongful act by Wisdom Yatra, you agree not to hold Wisdom Yatra, its team, or representatives liable for indirect or consequential losses, disruptions, injuries, or costs related to participation.

Weather conditions, force majeure events, and other factors beyond operational control may affect delivery, and cannot form the basis for additional compensation claims.

15) Payments

  • All listed prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Bookings are completed online.
  • Card transactions may attract an additional 1.5% processing fee.

16) Documentation

After successful booking and payment, you will receive a confirmation email/message with the relevant service details.

17) Complaints

If you face an issue during service, inform your guide/facilitator immediately so we can try to resolve it on the spot. If unresolved, escalate to Wisdom Yatra management by phone or email.

18) Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India, and applicable Indian law.

19) Insurance

You are expected to carry suitable travel insurance covering cancellation, baggage, medical needs, injury, and major unforeseen disruptions.

20) Consent to medical treatment

In an emergency, you authorize Wisdom Yatra to arrange customary first-response support, transport, or medical assistance. This clause does not create a mandatory duty on Wisdom Yatra to provide medical services directly.

21) Contact with us

By booking, you consent to receive service-related communication from Wisdom Yatra. You can opt out of non-essential communication at any time by emailing us.

22) Promotion release

You grant Wisdom Yatra a royalty-free permission to use photos/videos captured during the experience for educational, documentation, and promotional use of the brand.
